Muckatira Kaverappa (subramani), my dads elder brother. Retired from Airforce, started working for Karnataka electricity board. He is settled in bangalaore for a long time now.
His wife Vani Kaverappa was also working in the same dept and took a VRS, to become a home maker.
I remember those days when we cousins used to spend our summer vacation at grandma's place. Even during our holidays, we had to spend time reciting the tables from 1 to 20. Thanks to him, i am pretty good at it now. Its nice when you get back to the olden days especially those you dont intend to. those were the times you would really appreciate when you reach the time of realisation.
Thanks Balliappa(Big Dad)!!!!. I will always look up to you!!!!

Muckatira Ashwini " Affiancing " Kishen

This was after a very long time that "Muckatira" family played the actual host part with the support of all its cousins squad at Kodava Samaja, Vasanthnagar, Bangalore. Miss.Ashwini made it all possible. She chose Kishen to be her life partner. Wine and lunch was at its best and could hear and see people celebrating to eminence.

The hosting for this function was one of the best example for team building and the typical management. From Planning to Execution, the know steps for Management was applied to invent success. Happiness was filled every where except for Mr. Cariappa, Ashu Bro. He was tensed and could make out in his body language. The overall Management was on him. Amar and tobu, like everytime amidst liquor. Avinash, one huge Food Committee. Sapna, Shama, Shruthi, Bhavya and Deepthi greeting people and serving food. Bharath, the floor walker. Dr. I (Bopanna), liquor and soft Drinks.
Well, work was divided and people contributed in all ways. One of the best occasion in its own way!!!!!

"Neeli Nivas"-Betu, Napoklu

Neeli Nivas, the place i love to visit any time of the year. There was a time, when I was in coorg, used to frequently visit this place. the love and affection that i received from my dear granny can never be forgotten. my late grand father Mr. Aiyanna Muckatira and his wife Belliavva Muckatira(Neeli) built this place. They had 13 children. My dad being the youngest among the sons was brought up here and even to this day share his memories with us. It is one of my best time when all my cousins meet up here and have fun.
The house is surrounded by coffee estate and you can find peace anytime and every time. I used to take a walk amidst the estate and examine every tree and plant though do not have great knowledge about the flora. During "Kailpodu" festival we all used to attend the sports organised by the town community. "Hutri" festival was another occasion for us to come together to celebrate. I remember the snacks that avaya used to prepare. Chakkuli, Kajaya, chiroti, thumbutte, berumbutte etc etc etc.. Oranges, guava, nerepanne and mangoes that we cousins used to steal from other estates even though we had them in abundance, gave us all an excitement.
Neeli Nivas was a ideal place for me where i have spent my childhood during vacations. It was and still is the best place to be.

"Ananya"

"Anaya"-Unique, the home sweet home where i spent my schooling and my graduation life. I remember those days building it. How dad and ma were working on the site. Right from cutting the weeds on the site to watering the concrete walls to give it life and convert it to a heaven. Now i understand and realise how tough it is to get a home of your own.

Dad and Mom put in a lot of effort in putting it Right with ‘Ananya’. We had to move in at the earliest and this was due to my mistakes committed by me. I carry the Guilt even to this day. The construction was completed in 5 months time. Mom started to set the interiors after we moved into our home. It was a new excitement for me to move into a new home and etc etc etc…

The garden around reminds me of the hard work and the enthu that my dad had. He had spent a lot of time collecting the plants. Especially the hibiscus plants. He even to this day has a craze for it. He used to get up at 6'o' clock in the morning to water the plants. Well there were times when there was poor water supply in the town he always worried about his plants and order for a drum of water only for the garden. He was also good at kitchen garden. He used to grow radish, cabbage, cucumber, green chillies and various other pulses. he used to enjoy distributing it in the locality. Mom used to get upset sometimes but my dad was and is known for that. He always kept people happy and helped a lot of people.

"Anaya", I am very lucky to have you. Shall always be associated with you.

Nandan Muckatira

Here he is. A man with great guts, a man with lotz of friends, a man with the right attitude, an entertainer, talk of the family, my brother, NANDAN MUCKATIRA (tobu). He is currently doing his bachelors on Business Management in Bangalore.

It is a great pleasure to have him in any party that you attend. He rocks the floor with his funny, witty and vernacular songs. An expert dancer with all the twist and turns that he does. When he dislikes certain topics or the individual he just avoids them and pretend to be unknown. A dare Devil when challenged. He takes up tasks that are complicated and works hard to acheive his dream, come what may ever. Studies is one thing he is average at. If you have a craz for music (western), the latest car or bike(automobiles), ask him. He is the right man..

I have a lot of things that I learn from him. In one way he has been my teacher too. It is always nice to have a younger brother like him through whom you get various dimentions to look at things arround you. Thanks bro, for everything !!!!

Mrs & Mr Muckatira Subbaiah

The made for each other couple in the photo are my dad, Muckatira Aiyanna Subbaiah and my mom, Naliyanda Medappa Kaveramma. Well known as Nehru and Thavare. Dad was working for Kodagu Coffee Growers Co-operative Society and retired on 30th May 2008. Mom, still with Commercial Tax Department, has a year and a half of service to complete.
They always lived up to the expectations of each other knowing their responsibilities towards work and family. I still remember those days when dad and mom used to discuss their work for half an hour everyday once they are back home. They always had some suggestions to give each other. The arguments for simple things where both were right in their own ways....27 years of the married life and the care and attention towards me and my brother has been wonderful.. Thanks Dad!! Thanks Mom!!
